Apple's newly-announced MacBook Pro laptops are claimed to be twice as fast as the previous generation thanks to next-generation Intel Core i5 and i7 processors up to 2.7 GHz and Intel HD Graphics 3000. It will also have high-speed Thunderbolt input/output technology and a new FaceTime HD camera. So is this the video-maker's ideal moble HD editing studio?

Apple has unveiled a new Mac Pro line with up to 12 processing cores and up to 50 percent greater performance than the previous generation in addition to SSD solid-state drive options. Also announced are updates to the company's iMac range and also a new 27-inch LED Cinema Display.
