Sony has announced its new flagship NEX-7 D-SLR camera that possesses a 24.3 (effective) megapixels Exmor APS HD CMOS sensor and Full HD Movie shooting capabilities in the form of 50p/25p AVCHD, manual focus, full manual exposure control and improved audio. The NEX-7 is also the world’s first compact camera to feature an XGA OLED TruFinder for precision framing and focusing.

Sony has added another impressive digital stills camera capable of shooting high quality, Full HD video to its range of NEX camera product range. The newly-announced NEX-5N facilitates shooting of full 50p (or 60p) and 25p HD movie clips using a lens that offers manual focus and full exposure control. According to Sony, it also offers improved audio recording facilities over its predecessor, the NEX-5.
